| Cultivar epithet: 'Banana Split' Species/hybrid: Heliconia bihai Description: Erect inflorescence, 6 to 9 distichous bracts, chocolate (burnt sienna) on lower cheek with thick yellow band along lip, lip green distally, rachis chocolate to greenish-yellow, ovary and pedicel yellow.
