Cultivar epithet:  'Black Magic'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia caribaea

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 10 to 14 distichous bracts, dark burgundy with red at base, green on distal lip and tip; rachis red; sepals white basally to green distally; ovary and pedicel white. Vegetation musoid, with white waxy coating on shoot, petiole
and lower leaf surface. Height 3.6 to 4.9 m (12 to 16 feet).
