Cultivar epithet:  'Costa Flores'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia hirsuta

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 6 to 8 distichous bracts, red with red rachis; sepals yellow with black band distally, tip white; ovary red on distal half and yellow below; pedicel yellow. Vegetation zingiberoid. Height 0.9 to 1.8 m (3 to 6 feet).
