Cultivar epithet:  'Five A.M.'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia bihai

Description:  Erect inflorescence, 6 to 9 distichous bracts, light to dusky red at base onto proximal cheek and keel, green distally on lip, cheek and keel, light yellow on proximal lip, basal bract green, rachis red to yellowish, sepals mostly white with green medially, ovary white to cream and pedicel white.  Vegetation musoid.  Height 12 to 20 feet.
