Cultivar epithet:  'Fuchsia'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia psittacorum

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 4 to 5 distichous bracts, reddish purple with darker area proximally; rachis reddish purple with darker area proximally; rachis reddish purple beneath basal bract to
pale white-green on upper bracts; sepals light yellow-green with dark green band distally and whitish tip; ovary dark green distally and light green proximally; pedicel white. Vegetation musoid. Height 1.2 to 1.8 m (4 to 6 feet).
