Cultivar epithet:  'Golden Torch'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia psittacorum x spathocircinata

Description:  Erect inflorescence, 4 to 8 distichous bracts, golden or yellow, may have small red area at base,  basal bract may have green keel and tip, rachis golden, sepals golden with faint green tip, ovary golden distally and yellow below, pedicel yellow with green tint.  Vegetation musoid.  Height 2.5 to 9 feet.
