Cultivar epithet:  'Hall Red'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia beckneri

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 7 to 10 spiral bracts, red, basal bract with green-yellow keel and tip; rachis red; sepals pale green shading to darker green at tip; ovary and pedicel pale green. Vegetation musoid. Height 1.8 to 2.7 m (6 to 9 feet).
