Cultivar epithet:  'John Hall'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia gracilis

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 3 to 7 distichous bracts, yellow, basal bract with green keel and tip and sometimes a green leaflet; rachis yellow; sepals pale yellow on distal half and white below; ovary green; pedicel white. Vegetation musoid. Height 0.5 to 1.7 m (1.5 to 5.5 feet).
