Cultivar epithet:  'Strawberries and Cream'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia psittacorum

Description:  Erect inflorescence, 3 to 5 distichous bracts, red-pink distally and cream proximally, basal bracts mostly red-pink with a thin distal green keel, rachis cream with green tint, sepals pale yellow with distal dark green band and white tip, ovary pale yellow with green spot on distal corner, pedicel cream with green tint.  Vegetation musoid.  Height 3 to 5 feet.
