Cultivar epithet:  'Birdiana

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia pseudoaemygdiana

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 6 to 16 spiral bracts, yellow proximally and pink-orange distally or yellow-gold with orange tips, basal bract with small green tips; rachis yellow-gold with some pink between lower bracts or pink-orange and yellow above; sepals
green-yellow distally and pale yellow-green or yellow proximally; ovary and pedicel light green. Vegetation musoid. Height 0.9 to 1.5 m (3 to 5 feet).
