� Cultivar epithet: �'Black Cherry' Species/hybrid: �Heliconia psittacorum Description: �Erect inflorescence; 4 to 6 distichous bracts, dark red, shading to maroon distally on lower two bracts; rachis pink distally shading to red proximally; sepals green shading to dark green on distal third with darker green band and white tip; ovary green on distal third and white proximally; pedicel white.
