Cultivar epithet: �'Blue Moon'

Species/hybrid: �Heliconia griggsiana

Description: �Pendent inflorescence, 5 to 30 spiral bracts, green over cheek and keel, yellow at base and along lip, basal bract mostly green, rachis cream with yellow tint, ovary and pedicel yellow-cream.� Vegetation musoid, with white waxy coating on new shoots, petiole and lower leaf surface, pale maroon stripe on lower midrib.� Height 6 to 28 feet.
