Cultivar epithet:  'Carli's Sharonii'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia stricta

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 5 to 6 distichous bracts, red over cheek, extending onto keel distally, yellow at base and on proximal lip, green on distal lip and generally lighter green on proximal and medial keel, basal bracts with green along entire keel; rachis yellow; sepals green distally with white tip, white proximally; ovary and pedicel white. Vegetation musoid, maroon midrib above,
maroon on lower blade surface with green midrib, leaf margins undulate. Height 0.9 to 1.5 m (3 to 5 feet).
