� Cultivar epithet: �'Flash' Species/hybrid: �Heliconia caribaea Description: �Erect inflorescence, 8 to 10 distichous bracts, red to pink over proximal cheek and keel, yellow at base and at proximal lip, green on distal keel, lip and tip, becoming more yellow on upper bracts.� Rachis yellow to pink, sepals green distally and white below, ovary and pedicel white.� Vegetation musoid with white waxy coating on stem, petiole and lower surface of leaf blade.� Height 13 to 15 feet.
