Cultivar epithet:  'Gil Daniels'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia gracilis

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 4 to 5 distichous bracts, red with yellow base, basal bract usually with green keel and leaflet at tip; rachis yellow with dark orange or scarlet; sepals pale yellow to creamy-white; ovary yellow-green; pedicel white. Vegetation musoid. Height 0.5 to 1.2 m (1.5 to 4 feet).
