� Cultivar epithet: �'Gold' Species/hybrid: �Heliconia caribaea Description: �Erect inflorescence, 6 to 10 distichous bracts, gold over most of of the bract, some shading to yellow on keel.� Green on distal keel, lip and tip, decreasing on upper bracts.� Rachis gold shading to yellow and yellow-white, sepals green distally and white below, ovary and pedicel white.� Vegetation musoid with white waxy coating on stem, petiole and lower surface of leaf blade.� Height 12 to 14 feet.
