Cultivar epithet: �'Las Cruces'

Species/hybrid: �Heliconia stricta

Description: �Erect inflorescence; 4 to 6 distichous bracts, red with narrow green and yellow lines along lip and green keel on basal bracts; rachis red; sepals green distally with white tip and white below; ovary and pedicel white. Vegetation musoid, upper and lower midrib with red to maroon stripes, margins slightly undulate.
Height 0.9 to 1.5 m (3 to 5 feet).
