Cultivar epithet: 'Maya Gold' Species/hybrid: Heliconia champneianana Description: Erect inflorescence, 5 to 13 distichous bracts, gold to yellow with light to dark green along distal keel and at tip, some bracts with minute flecks of maroon, basal bract mostly green. Rachis gold to yellow, sepals green distally and white below, ovary pale yellow and pedicel white with yellow tint. Vegetation musoid. Height 6 to 15 feet. Nominant: H.
