| Cultivar epithet: 'Nickeriensis' Species/hybrid: Heliconia marginata x psittacorum Description: Erect inflorescence, 5 to 9 distichous bracts, pink-red over most of keel and cheek, with golden yellow on lip, tip and bract base. Rachis gold to yellow, sepals golden orange, ovary yellow and pedicel light yellow or cream. Vegetation musoid. Height 4 to 8 feet. Publication: Stokes Tropicals. 1999. Catalog.
