| Cultivar epithet: 'Pedro Ortiz' Species/hybrid: Heliconia bourgeana x collinsiana Description: Erect inflorescence, becoming twisted to pendent, 8 to 9 distichous bracts, bright solid red with a red rachis, sepals golden yellow.
