| � Cultivar epithet: �'Peter Bacon' Species/hybrid: �Heliconia psittacorum Description: �Erect inflorescence; 3 to 5 distichous bracts, green proximally shading to cream and pink distally; rachis green; sepals orange with distal black band and white tip; ovary yellow; pedicel yellow to yellow-green. Vegetation musoid. Height 0.8 to 1.5 m (2.5 to 5 feet). Nominant:� F. Berry (1987)
