Cultivar epithet: �'Sassy'

Species/hybrid: �Heliconia psittacorum

Description: �Erect inflorescence, 4 to 6 distichous bracts, pale green or cream proximally, red or pink distally, basal bract with narrow green keel and green tip, rachis pale white or green, , sepals orange with distal green-black band and white tip, ovary green distally and yellow-green proximally, pedicel yellow-green or pale green.� Vegetation musoid.� Height 1.5 to 9 feet.
