� Cultivar epithet: �'Sexy Pink' Species/hybrid: �Heliconia chartacea Description: �Pendent inflorescence, 4 to 28 spiral bracts, pink at base and on proximal 2/3 of cheek and keel, with a thick pale to dark green lip and tip.� Rachis dark pink to red, sepals dark green distally to paler green proximally, ovary and pedicel cream.� Vegetation musoid, with white waxy coating on most stems and leaf blades lacerating into narrow lateral segments.� Height 6 to 16 feet.
